We heard the heartbeat today which was an amazing thing! The nurse tried to find it first but was not sure about what she was hearing. She thought my heartbeat was the babies and was counting it out and came to 140 beats per minute. She left to go get the doctor. Forty five minutes later the doctor came in to confirm that it was my heartbeat (how can my heartbeat be 140??? – Her watch must have been off!) and spent about five minutes fishing around for the babies. I started to get a little nervous when all of the sudden a wild beating came out from the speaker! I took a deep breathe because I was shocked and amazed and the litttle thing moved! The doctor was able to find it again quickly and we got to listen for another few minutes.
It was an amazing experience.
